Illustration Friday: CRAVING
Medium: color pencils (for the actual drawing), digital for the text, and recipe section. Somehow when I think about "Craving", my mind goes to food. I love food! I CRAVE good chinese food. It's one of my obession! Here's the recipe to make this dish:
Ingredients
1 tablespoon peanut oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 garilic clove, crushed
1 fresh red chilli, seeded and finely sliced
1 pound fresh stir-fry vegetables, such as bean sprouts
and shredded carrots, bell peppers and snow peas
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1 tablespoon soy sauce
12 ounces fresh dressed crabmeat
12 spring roll wrappers
1 small eg, beaten
oil, for deep-frying
salt and freshly ground black pepper lime wedges
and fresh cilantro, to garnish
For the dipping sauce
1 onion, thinly sliced
oil, for deep-frying
1 fresh red chilli, seeded and finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
4 tablespoons dark soy sauce
4 teaspoon lemon jice
2 tablespoons hot water

Illustration Friday: ADAPT
